Date: 2025-07-26 12:50 pm (UTC)How long the meat stays good in in depends. The top part is colder than the bottom part, and it freezes if I put it in the top part, so it'll stay good for pretty long there. The bottom part is cool enough to keep it good for a few days, though.
I think someone called it a 'fridge'?

This is one of the buildings with fully intact stairs to the rooftop, hence her selection; not all of them have the option, but she's had too much time on her hands and a love of figuring out stupid puzzles, ergo here she is now. (And probably on two people's CCTV footage, but as Alex knows neither of them and can't say she really cares, good on them. Seeing a young woman climb things.) )
Here, we want the stairs on the far left of the building, but we've gotta head in the front since the door on the outside doesn't have a handle. There's an elevator that works from floor ten to floor eighteen, then we'll be walking again.
( Flashing a smile, and hauling along her small bag of supplies unpacked from under the boosted seat he'd been on, Alex heads toward the front doors of some building that's named and utterly unfamiliar to her even so. )

Still, she veers toward the elevator to check on it, jabbing the button for up. The light actually comes on, leading her to perking up considerably. Then it opens to... nothing. Alex's shoulders fall, and she sighs. )
Okay, so the elevator for the second half of the building ( she points up ) is actually there, time to get climbing for now.
( And she heads right back toward the glory that is the interior staircase she's already familiar with. Look, sometimes she can Hope. )
