[It's for the best that there's stairs, since Alex may like climbing things, but Dwayne does not. He dismounts the bike, looking at the building they'll be going to the roof of. It's tall, but he's seen plenty of taller buildings in Sharn so that part doesn't shock him.]

The door doesn't have a handle?

It's meant to only allow people out, not in. You see it on a lot of exits you don't want to have someone guarding or have a lock on.

( Alex says with a shrug. Not common at most the places she's worked (she's only really worked at the Hunter's Association), but she knows about it from media and other people's job stories.

Still, she veers toward the elevator to check on it, jabbing the button for up. The light actually comes on, leading her to perking up considerably. Then it opens to... nothing. Alex's shoulders fall, and she sighs. )

Okay, so the elevator for the second half of the building ( she points up ) is actually there, time to get climbing for now.
