i'm there too. everyone calls it the crime hub but me and my dads are all heroes. did you get that too?

I was told it was a crime hub, but apparently I'm supposed to be a villain? I'm not much of a villain, though.

i mean... i guess a hero is better but the costumed stuff is weird

Sure, I figured I could play the role. Probably will just play the part for reporters, I wasn't going to actually do anything villainous. I'd rather focus on finding the anomaly.

Maybe see if someone assigned the hero role would like to do a dramatic race across the city with me at the end of the month. There could be dramatic banter and we could make up some heroic/villainous reason we're doing it.

you might be able to figure out something about the anomaly if you play up as a villain. the villains have a headquarters. they're just right there?

They won't need super speed. I don't have super speed. I'm thinking more of a regular chase on foot, jumping over obstacles, that kind of thing.

oh. like a hero/villain obstacle course where you pretend to be battling but you're just having a contest?

is there a prize?

Yep! And we can play it up like it's an actual thing with dramatic speeches, so people from this world will think we're really battling, but it's just a fun competition.

Yeah, there can be a prize. Do you think like...a big chunk of deer meat is a good prize?

i guess it depends on the person you're racing. i would eat deer meat? if it was a good piece of deer meat

but a lot of people are picky. you two could talk about a prize

I'll talk about that when I know who I'm racing, but I don't have a lot of stuff to give away, so the prize will probably be deer meat no matter what their answer is.

I put it in the ice box, so it's not in my pocket or anything like that, but yes.

that's cool. how long does the meat last in it? is it a non magical ice box?

I'm pretty sure it's magic because it stays cold even though there's no actual ice in it.

How long the meat stays good in in depends. The top part is colder than the bottom part, and it freezes if I put it in the top part, so it'll stay good for pretty long there. The bottom part is cool enough to keep it good for a few days, though.

I think someone called it a 'fridge'?

those are good if you stick them to one place. but they don't stay cold if you take the black wires in the back out. not for long

That sounds good. Especially the mission part, because I've been trying to figure out how to look for an anomaly and so far I haven't had any good ideas.

it's pretty hard. i hate when there's stuff to investigate on a mission.
